For the Love of Burlap- Wedding Wednesday!

The theme of our wedding was Simple and Southern. (no surprise there right?)
With our colors being Navy and White, we wanted to add another color, and decided to add burlap accents. I could not be more pleased with how everything turned out.

The above wreaths are form 131 Designs. The owner was great to work with, as she had created the wreaths for her own wedding. I did a giveaway back in March with her, and look forward to working with her again this fall as she will be offering a discount to my readers

Another favorite of mine, was our seating chart. We found a salvaged mirror at a local thrift shop, covered the back with burlap, and then used the front to write our guests seating destinations. We printed out what we wanted it to say in the font we wanted, and then used a dry erase “chalk” marker to copy it onto the glass. The best part if after the wedding we erased it, and can now use the window for another project!

We also work with Hiley Fields to have burlap ribbon roping off the aisle, so the guests wouldn’t walk on the rose petals until after the ceremony. We used burlap behind our cake table with our monogram (a gift from my monogram and mimosas fun from the bachlorette) All in all I am happy with our our touches of burlap turned out. More to come as we take glimpses into our wedding. See the glimpse into our reception below..
